Yahoo Launch on March 1st, 1995
Yahoo.com, another all-in-one site
where you can gather your news, search up other websites that existed
back then, and check your mail. Yahoo! would be mostly known for it's
popular e-mail service, a lot of people had either @yahoo.com, or
@hotmail.com, and of course @aol.com. Of course, Yahoo's competitor
would be MSN, as well as Google. Google was starting very fresh, and at
one point, Yahoo! did have the opportunity to buy Google.
However, they
turned it down. Thinking Google will never be as popular. Well, Yahoo!
has been eating their words since Google got it's big break as it is
