I haven't drifted an RX7, but I did had an RX8 for a couple of weeks last year, god I loved it, the engine really is superb but it robbed me of £20 a day to get to work. I am only going on the testimonials of people? who have converted RX7s to V8, who say that the handling is not ruined as you would expect. The V8s are not much heavier than a fully dressed 13B, and being an alloy pushrod engine the weight is still kept fairly low.
